NRI and Management Quota admissions Ends in AYUSH colleges. Admission only through NEET

February 8:  NRI and Management quota in Ayush streams end, as has been conveyed by the Ministry of Ayush to the country’s universities and institutions. This rule applies to the 2017-18 season.
·         AYUSH Ministry made clear that the longer the NRI and management quota in medical colleges across the country will be applicable in the session 2017-18.
·         Sources also reveal that the Ministry is trying to have the AYUSH colleges counseling together, but efforts are underway on agreement at state level.

AYUSH ministry has  conveyed his order to both Central Council of Homeopathy and Central Council of Indian Medicine.
Chattisgarh has a total of 05 Ayurveda, Homeopathy 03, and Unani 02. There are 286 Ayurveda colleges, 189 Homeopathy, 48 Unani and 18 Naturopathy colleges across the country.
