Nagpur: A homeopathy clinic which will provide medical treatment to patients was inaugurated during a mega health check-up camp organized by Agyaram Devi Mandir Trust on Monday. The clinic will come up at the temple, near new ST Bus Stand Road, Ganeshpeth. Dr Vineet Karia will be providing free treatment to the patients every day from 4pm to 6pm.
“Working for the society runs through my family and I wanted to keep that legacy going, so I decided to start the hospital to serve deprived people,” said Dr Karia. The hospital was inaugurated by Dr Suresh Chandak, former president of Maharashtra Radiological Department. Former mayor Archana Dehankar, corporator Bapu Chikle, Ashok Agrawal, Bandu Raut and others were present.
In the health camp, over 150 people received medical attention by doctors from Dindayal Upadhyay Institute of Medical Science Research and Human Resources.
Blood pressure, blood test, eye and other check-ups were carried out at the camp. A beneficiary Ayub Sheikh said, “I am a watchman. Me and my visited the camp as it was free. The doctors here helped my wife with her ailing leg and also gave us medicines, I hope it will ease her pain.”
