TIMELINE OF HOMOEOPATHIC REPERTORIES

Abstract:
Dr Hahnemann, The father of Homoeopathy, felt the need of Indexing the ever enlarging MateriaMedica in order to facilitate the work of finding out the Simillimum, in Acute as well as Chronic diseases. So, different authors with their respective philosophies made a Index (Repertory) for the practical use. There are various General, Clinical, Regional, Card and rare Repertories which were not aware by the students as well as by the practitioner. By this Timeline, author tries to make aware of some these Rare Repertories to the students and homoeopathic practitioners and can be useful in their Clinical Practice and also for Systemic Reference.
INTRODUCTION:
“Repertory” is a Systematically and Logically arranged index to the Homoeopathic MateriaMedica, which is full of information collected from Toxicology, Drug-Proving and Clinical experience.
Repertory helps us to find out a required symptoms in a rubric form together with the medicine or a group of medicines with different grades. Classification Of Repertories were done  to know the different authors philosophy, arrangement of rubrics and application of repertory in the practice for the different types of cases. Eg.
