Northeast high on AYUSH Ministry’s agenda

The Ministry of Ayush has initiated several schemes for the betterment of the northeast in the ayurvedic sector even as 6, 34, 293 patients in this landlocked region have been benefited under various schemes of Ayush.
 
Government statistics said that more than 9,600 numbers of accessioned herbarium sheets were collected and more than 1,000 numbers of folk-claims were documented under Medico-Ethno Botanical Survey programme in the region.
