MUSCAT – Dr Deepak Sharma, best homoeopathic doctor involved in Oman since 1996, has been privileged with ‘Pride of Middle East’ – Healthcare Excellence honour for his involvement and attainments in alternative medicine (Homoeopathy) in Middle East, specifically Oman.
Royal Excellency, Princess Dr Mom Luang Rajadarasri Jayankura of Thailand and Dr Udit Raj, member of parliament, Government of India, deliberated the award on Dr Deepak Sharma during a ceremony organized by Global Achievers Alliance, an Indo-Thai nonprofit organization, which identifies people from around the world, who have made a change in their fields and contributed to the society as a whole. The decorative and cheerful award ceremony was joined by many respected notables from Thailand and India.
Dr Sharma stated that the award was a pleasant surprise and great incentive to serve the society when asked to say a few words during the ceremony. Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin were thanked by Dr Sharma for officially consenting the practice of Homoeopathy in Oman 23 years back and offering him an opportunity to help the patient of Oman with this blessed way of treatment, where the individual as a whole was cured without any side effects.
Dr Sharma, a well-known personality in Oman, completed his graduation in Homoeopathy from Delhi University and postgraduate from Ireland.
He also earns a credit of subject speaker on Homoeopathy and research in international seminars and an honorary guide and teacher to many young homoeopaths across different countries.
