PANJIM: Union Minister for AYUSH Shripad Naik has commended Goa for giving one of the best training frameworks in the nation.
“Education is a medium which determines a person’s future. Goa is becoming one of the States known for its quality education,” he said in the wake of establishing the framework stone for the development of new working for Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at Porvorim on Sunday.
He expressed that the new framework would make a decent domain for training and his Ministry has constantly done its best to help the State particularly in the two essential segments Education and Health.
“Along with deriving educational qualifications, the purpose of education should be to bring about a good change in a person,” he included.

He said that Porvorim, the constituency which he represents, is on its way to becoming a hub for education in Goa. “Porvorim is slowly becoming an education hub,” he said including, “To help the cause of education in Goa, a strong support system is required in terms of having good infrastructure. Goa is moving towards becoming a knowledge economy.”
The proposed building, which is being built by Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation at an expense of Rs 27.33 crore, will be situated on a plot of 8100 sq. mts, by the old building. It will have sufficient space for various divisions like organization, accounts, scholastic segment, endorsement cell, SSC and HSSC test segments, and so forth. It will likewise comprise of four guardianship rooms, three in number rooms, two store rooms, and two labs for IT segment and a lodge for the representative secretary of IT office, and a library with a limit of 50 individuals, and so forth.
