The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, which made the National Entrance and Admission Test (NEET) mandatory for the AYUSH courses, has relaxed the yoga and naturopathy courses rule for the 2019-20 academic year.
Candidates who aspire to yoga and naturopathy courses will have to write the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority. The last day to submit the application online is on Wednesday.
The sources said that this was done since a large number of seats in yoga and naturopathy were vacant in the 2018-2019 academic year after NEET became mandatory.
