| Educational Qualifications | · BPharma./MPharma. · BSc. Microbiology/Zoology · BE Biotechnology/Medical Electronics · BSc/General Nursing · Doctors (Including Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, Dentists) |
| Work Experience | · 24 months to 48 months (Medical Coder) · 48 months to 72 months (Senior Medical Coder) |

| · Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. · Knowledge of Pharmacology. · Well versed with current coding principles. · Worked with ‘ICD 9 CM’ codes. Proficient in assigning codes to diagnoses in Inpatient or Outpatient charts using the ‘ICD-9 CM’ text book. · Worked with HCC Coding such as Optum, Optum MDX, NAAM CA & MMM with Part C & D Coding. · Used CPT and HCPCS codes based on HIPPA. |
· Worked software such as ‘Putty’,’Citrix’,’CoderYTE’ and ‘Encoder Probe’ to input information into a computerised patient record system. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. |
