Abstract:
The Biochemic Treatment were first discovered & introduced by Dr.Schuessler in Germany in 1873.The main theme behind this discovery is the law of deficiency.There are different kinds of inorganic salts found in tissues of the human body which helps in proper cell functioning and provide support to the body’s health by regulating cells tissue salts level.In homeopathy this tissue remedies plays very good role in process of cure and for our mission as homeopathic physician.

Introduction :
As Dr.Samuel Hahnemann is called the father of homeopathy, Dr.Schuessler is called the father of biochemic system of medicine. It is one of the alternative systems of medicine.The Law of deficiency is at the center of this theory. It can be compared to vitamins,just like deficiency of any vitamins will cause abnormal signs & symptoms , also can be compared to agriculture where by soil is tested to see that inorganic salt is lacking and fertilizers are supplied to make up the deficiency.According to biochemic system health is normal cell metamorphosis,disease is a disturbance of the molecular motion of the inorganic tissue salts and cure is restoration of equilibrium of molecular motion by furnishing minimal dose of the same inorganic tissue salt.Biochemic medicines are inorganic cell salts prepared by trituration according to homeopathic method.By giving biochemic medicine in such a dose as can be assimilated by the growing cells and the most wonderful & speedy restoration to healthy function is brought about in every case of curable disease,this is very important and on it depends the success of treatment.There are 12 inorganic cell salts found in the ashes of the body and essential for proper growth and development of every part of human body.This salts can be found in various vegetables,fruits,dryfruits and many more etc.. but instead of this using biochemic medicine give good result.
Here is the list of 12 tissue remedies, their source and where it presents in the body & indications.
- Calcarea fluorica – It is found in the Enamel of teeth, surface of bones, connective tissue, elastic fiber of all connective tissue. It acts as an elasticity fiber. Main indications are:
1) hard swelling and growth in body.
2) Varicose veins, Haemorrhoids.
3) cataract and partial blindness.
4) Stony hardness of glands.
5) Calcareous deposit on eardrum causes deafness.
- Calcarea Phosphorica – It is found in Teeth,Bones ,Gastric juice,connective tissue,blood corpuscles.this salt works with albumen.
Main indications are:
1)It is a great teething remedy,teeth slow in coming and quick to decay,dentitional diarrhoea.
2)Child slow in learning to walk,Rickets.
3)Fontanelles and sutures on cranium remain open to long.
4)Nasal polyp and chronic swelling of tonsil.
5)Anemia and chlorosis.
6)Tonic for children who are not eating well. - Calcarea Sulphurica – it’s a plaster of paris. Main indications are.
1) It controls suppuration if it is continuing too long.
2) All discharges are thick purulent esp from nose,ear,respiratory track.
3) Eye inflammations,abscess,ulcers.
4) Chronic nephritis.
5) Extremities –fingers stiff,swollen,rigid,puffy.Knees and legs painful , rigid.
6) Deafness with discharge from the middle ear.
7) Acne pain, especially scalp discharging yellow purulent matter. - Ferrum Phosphoricum – Iron attracts oxygen from the blood cells and supplies to tissues with the help of sulphate of potash. Main indications are:
1)Use in 1st stage of inflammation in any part of body or fever.
2)Bleeding from any orifice,bright red,anemic subject,it increases haemoglobin.
3)Summer diarrhea.
4)Enuresis,constant dribbling.
5)Powerful vein remedy-use when there is bed circulation.
6) Varicocele.
7)Raynaud’s disease.
8)Bleeding piles. - Kali Muriaticum – This salt is found in blood corpuscles,muscles,nerves,brain cells as well as in intercellular fluids. Main indications are:
1) Glandular swelling and infectious disease of childrens.
2) Heavy chest conditios with white-greyish expectoration,second stage of all inflammatory conditions of the respiratory tract.
3) Specific remedy for deafness.
4) Facial paralysis,Diptheria,Hydrocele.
5)Principal remedy as a background treatment of gonorrhea.
6). White or gray coating on the tounge,mucous lining or tonsils.
7). Flour like scaling of the skin.
8).Vesicular blistering erysipelas. - Kali Phosphoricum – This salt is found in the brain,nerves,muscles and the blood corpuscles. Main indications are:
1).It is a great brain and nerve remedy,used in all mental disorders,Brain fag from overwork.
2).Paralysis of any part of body,background remedy for at least six months.
3).Atrophy of auditory nerve ,deafness from weakned nerve.
4). Insanity with softening of the brain.
5). Eyesight weak through tired optic nerve,stye on left lowerlid.
6). Rheumatic pains from shoulders through all extremities to the sole of the feet,worse from violent exertion but relieved by gentle motion.
7).Stool can be pure blood in dysentery.
8).Tongue coated like stale brownish,liquid mustard.
9).Nervousness,patient sheds tears while narrating symptoms.
10) Spinal anemia from an exhausting disease.
- Kali Sulphuricum – This salt is found in cells and intercellular fluid,muscles,nerves,epithelium and blood cells.In conjunction with ferrum phos it is a carrier of oxygen. Main indications are:
1). All discharges are profuse thick yellow and slimy from any orifice.
2). Swelling in middle and internal ear, secretion causing deafness.
3).Epithelioma on rt cheek from lower eyelid to nostril,ulcerated with hard base.
4). Promotes perspiration so should be given at the onset of fevers.
5).Tongue coating is yellow and slimy sometimes with white edge.
6).Skin dry,hot,burning
7).This salt aids desquamation in eruptive disease and assists in the formation of new skin. - Magnesia Phosphorica – This salt is found in the white fibers of nerves and muscles. Main indications are:
1).The true anti spasmodic remedy, any spasms,twitching,tremors,fits,chorea,colics etc.
2).In brain disease it is given with kali phos make a wonderful pair.
3).Deafness through weakness of auditory nerve.
4).Toothache,pills dissolve in hot water and sip slowly.
5).Neuralgic stomach cramps and colic daily at 3-4pm.
6).Headache every evening at 10pm.
7).Piles excruciating cutting,darting pain causes fainting.
8).Stammering-spasmodic twitching of mouth,lips,lock jaw,paralytic agitans.
9).Shooting pain in limbs resembling electric shock.
10).Twitching nerves all over the body.
- Natrum Muriaticum – The human body contains about 70% of water.This salt distributes water in the tissue so when there is excessive dryness or excessive moisture in any organ it means a lack of this salt. Main indications are:
1).Chief remedy for sunstroke.
2).Delirium tremens,this salt is the chief remedy to remove dryness which exist in the brain.
3).Headache with profuse tears,as if hammers hitting in brain ,zig zag light flashing in eyes –one dose of CM will stop it.
4).Leucorrhoea in emotional women.
5). Great spleen remedy,pain under left shoulder blade and upper chest.
6).Violent fluent coryza lasting from one to three days then stoppage of nose,it is an infallible remedy for cold commencing with sneezing.
7).Palpitation of heart,pulsation of heart felt all over body.
8)Backache relieved by lying on something hard.
9). Eruptions on skin with watery content,also indicated in warts in the palm of hand. - Natrum Phophoricum – Here we have a wonderful friend – acid-alkaline balancer. Main indications are:
1).Good remedy where there is excess acid in the body,like stomach,joints etc..
2).Great worm remedy,round or thread worm.
3).Tongue has a thick yellow coating with a bad coppery taste on waking.
4).Stool are acid and excoriating ,alternating between diarrhea and constipation.
5).Great remedy for all acute and chronic rheumatism,where acid is present in body.
6).Inflammation of eyes when secreting a golden yellow creamy matter.
7).sterility caused by acid secretion from vagina.
8).Treambling about the heart,always worse after eating.
9).Eczema of skin with acid ,creamy,yellow secretion. - Natrum Sulphuricum – This salt regulates the amount of water in the system.Biochemistry establishes the fact that malaria ,cholera,yellow fever caused by excess water in blood,there is not sufficient natrum sulph to expel the extra water. Main indications are:
1.) It is given as malaria preventive and also in all stages of intermittent fever.
2).All ailments worse by dampness of weather,damp houses or cellars.
3).It is specific for any head injury.
4).Spinal meningitis-violent crushing,gnawing pains at the base of brain.
5).Chief remedy for diabetes.
6).Tongue has a dirty, greenish or greenish brown coating.
7).It can be given as an intercurrent remedy when vomiting of green colour occurs in diphtheria.
8). Humid asthma esp.in children worse in damp wet weather.
9). Pneumonia-great soreness in lower lobe of left lung.
10.) Great liver remedy. - Silicea – This is found in hair,skin,nail,bone tissue,periosteum and nerve sheath. Main indications are:
1).This salt is surgeon of the body for drawing out morbid matter from any part of the body.
2).Sweating of scalp,small lump or nodule about size of pea all over head,fontenelles and sutures not closing).
3). Cataract after suppressed foot sweat or eruption,styes and pustular affection of eyelids,for disease of lachrymal apparatus.
4).Partial deafness from suppuration of ear.
5).Chronic dyspepsia with acid eructations.
6).Elephantiasis of scrotum-burning,soreness of genitals with eruption on inner surface of thigh.
7).Respiratory disease like pneumonia,bronchitis,abscess-expectoration of thick yellow-green with pus.
8).Indicated for neglected injuries when threatening to suppurate.
9).copius night sweat with prostration.
10).Discharges are thick ,yellow offensive.
11).Epileptic fits occur at night and at new moon and full moon.
Conclusion –
