The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH] ,Kolkata West Bengal organized National seminar on 30th July 2017 at Rabindra-Okakura Bhavan, Salt Lake , Kolkata, West Bengal .
In this auspicious occasion Prof (Dr.) Bhabotosh Biswas, V.C, West Bengal University of health sciences, Govt. of W.B , Prof(Dr) L.K Nanda , Chairman, Committee of Excellency in Education, C.C.H. and Prof C.R Mahata, Hony Emeritus Scientist, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, West Bengal embellished the chair of Chief Guest , Inaugurator and Special Guest respectively. To inspire meritorious students , ‘Late Netai Pada Basu Memorial Award -2017’ offered to Puja Bhakta ,who stood first in order of merit from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
BAAH Chairman , Dr Biswajit Basu, welcomed all the dignitaries and participants coming from different parts of our country and Bangladesh and narrated the aims and objectives of the Organization i.e ‘To be and let be better Homoeopathic Physician’ . All the dignitaries expressed their views and appreciated the endeavour taken by The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH] for the applied academic development of Homoeopathy. To commemorate this occasion comprising the lectures and some important writings from old archives ‘BAAH SOUVENIR -2017’ was also released.
The theme of BAAH 6th National seminar was “THREE PRECAUTIONARY RULES OF DR S HAHNEMANN”. In the first scientific session (Prof (Dr) B N SAHA memorial lecture ) Prof C.R Mahata delivered on the topic , ‘Avogadro limit washed out by structural concept for Homoeopathic medicines’ . Prof (Dr) L K Nanda delivered on the topic , ‘Choice of Homoeopathic medicines’. Session was concluded by Dr Biswajit Basu on the topic ‘Follow up after first prescription’. The session was illustrated with some significant evidence based cured cases . The audience enjoyed the session as an authentic , inspiring and encouraging hours. The 2nd scientific session( Dr Narayan Dutta Memorial lecture) The topic for this session was ‘Quality control of Homoeopathic Medicines’ was a very informative session delivered by Dr D. S Bhar. The third session (Dr Tapan Nandi Memorial Lecture ) for evidence based cases, presented by BAAH study circle members Dr. Aloke Kumar Ghosh & Dr. Nirupam Majumder and Dr Sampad Roy .
Concluding session was an interactive ‘question –answer’ open session by Prof (Dr) L K Nanda and Dr Biswajit Basu was also very attractive and informative .
BAAH Secretary Dr. Shipra Basu narrated about different ongoing programmes conducted by The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH], like Workshop on different Modules, Health camps, Study Circle etc. This one day National seminar was concluded paying vote of thanks to all by the Organizing Secretary BAAH.
