Dr. Seema Mahesh is a student of Professor George Vithoulkas and a renowned classical homeopath from Bangalore, India, with a successful clinical experience of 18 years. After completing Homeopathic medical education as a topper of Rajiv Gandhi University in 2003, she went on to complete her PG diploma at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy, Greece. She is also known for her extensively inspirational and influential teaching. She has taught as lecturer (pathology and anatomy) in homeopathic medical colleges in Bangalore, India. She has been teaching the IACH E learning students since 2008. Her research accomplishments started in the form of a dissertation as a part of the MD program. She has since been continuously involved in research data compilation and research writing at the Centre For Classical Homeopathy, Bangalore. She has been serving as the Head of Scientific Committee of International Academy of Classical Homeopathy, Alonissos, Greece since 2017, assisting Prof. George Vithoulkas in his scientific endeavors. She collaborates with the diplomats of the academy spread over 65 countries to collate data and conduct clinical studies. She is a research scholar at Taylor’s University School of Medicine, Malaysia where she trained in research methodologies and currently conducting research on the concepts of fever treatment in elderly under the supervision of Prof Lai, the Cochrane trainer for systematic reviews in Malaysia. She has 18 peer reviewed articles published so far in both complementary and conventional medicine journals. She has presented numerous research posters starting from ‘Autoimmunity 2017 – where are we now’ conference held in Brooklyn New York in April 2017, later at ‘The 5th World Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis Conference’ held at Stockholm, Sweden and the Keystone Symposia on Resolution of inflammation held in Dublin, Ireland, the 5th European Congress of Immunology at Amsterdam, Netherlands, and at the Advanced Treatments and Technologies in Multiple Sclerosis 2018, in London, UK, at the World Homeopathy Day conference conducted by the Centra Council of Research in Homeopathy in April 2019 in New Delhi, India and as the main speaker at GETAT 2019 conference conducted by the Health Ministry of Turkey and WHO in April 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey. Further, her research was presented at the 13th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology in April 2019 in Madrid, Spain and at the Keystone Symposia on meta-inflammation held at Vancouver, Canada and the Movementis- Brain, Body, Cognition conference held in July 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel. Dr. Seema Mahesh was awarded the Certificate of Excellence” for the presentation of her research poster at the conference on ‘Movement – Brain – Body – Cognition’ at Harvard Medical School, the USA on the topic ‘Multiple Sclerosis: Correlation between infection and antibiotic treatment’. She has also taught homeopathy and research lectures on global platforms held at USA, Mexico, Greece, Brazil, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, Israel, Egypt and India with audience from across the world. She, along with her husband Dr Mahesh M were instrumental in conducting the “Event India Vithoulkas” international conferences at India with participation of 1000 homeopaths. She has appeared on multiple radio and television and newspaper programs for her contribution to homeopathy.
