OPSC Recruitment 2018:  Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has notified about the recruitment process for 371 Homeopathic Medical Officers and Ayurvedic Medical Officer posts has been released by the on its official website – opsc.gov.in. The online application process is scheduled to begin tomorrow i.e. 14th December 2018 on opsconline.gov.in and candidates will be able to apply online for the posts on or before 14th January 2019. OPSC will organize a written test at Cuttack/Bhubaneswar as part of the selection process.

Vacancy Details:
Homeopathic Medical Officer –150 posts
Ayurvedic Medical Officer – 221 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
Academic Qualification:
Homeopathic Medical Officer – The applicant must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) or equivalent degree from a recognised institute as recognized by Central Council of Homeopathy. S/he must be registered under the Odisha State Board of Homeopathic Medicines.
Ayurvedic Medical Officer – The applicant must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or equivalent degree from a recognised institute as recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine, and must be registered under the Odisha State Board of Ayurvedic Medicines.
Age-Limit:
The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 32 years as on 1st January 2018. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be the selected on the basis of an MCQ based Written Test  (70% weightage) and Career Marking (30% weightage).
Application Fee:
Unreserved category candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/-
SC/ST/PWD applicants are exempted from paying the application fee.
