Case Analysis: Finding the Best Method for the Professional and the Patient
What’s the best way to take a homeopathic case and what’s the best way to analyze symptoms? In recent times, schools have branched out in their teaching of case analysis. Some focus on the classical approach. Others find single medicines by looking into similarities of symptoms with the plant and animal kingdoms or with elements in the periodic table. Then there are the schools that rely on treatment plans that use multiple medicines or protocols. Given the variety of methods of prescribing, how do we find the best method for our patients? And in the process, how do we promote discussion between the different types of prescribers?
This presentation will explore some of the many benefits and drawbacks to various ways of prescribing. Then, participants will be asked to share their views on the subject. A robust discussion will be encouraged with an eye towards providing our patients with the best homeopathic care possible and creating channels of communication to share experiences and ensure unity of the profession.
