World Homeopathy Day 2025 Celebrated by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt Of India

Marking the 270th birth anniversary of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, Father of Homeopathy, the world of homeopathy saw over 8000 Indian and many foreign Homeopaths commemorating the World Homeopathy Day 2025 on 10th-11th April 2025 at the iconic Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Center, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. 

A series of educational events featuring insightful discussions on practice of homeopathy, impactful interactions on imparting premium homeopathic education and enlightening research paper presentations highlighting the significance of this powerful yet gentle system of medicine along with the ‘largest-so-far’ homeopathic industry exhibition were organized by the Central Council of Research in HOmeopathy (CCRH), in collaboration with the National Commission for Homeopathy (NCH) and National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH)- India’s largest Homeopathy symposium driven to innovate and develop the science and art of homeopathy. 

“Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the event in the presence of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayush and Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Shri Prataprao Jadhav.

During the inaugural ceremony, the dignitaries released a Convention Souvenir, eight new publications, e-portals of the CCRH Library and Homoeopathy Archives, and a documentary film on drug proving, showcasing the remarkable research and documentation work undertaken in the field” the Press information Bureau reported.  

Among the publications released at the prestigious event, were two noteworthy books from the House of BJain Publishers. The books are titled- 

The Art and Craft of Writing and Publishing Scientific Articles (Authored by Prof (Dr) Chaturbhuja Nayak, Chairman, Special Committee on Fundamental Research, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, CCRH), Government of India).

The Calcutta Homoeopathy Files (Authored by Dr Pralay, Director-Incharge, National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata, West Bengal, India). 

This year’s event focused on:
1. Research dissemination – Clinical, Drug, Public Health, and Basic
2. Stakeholder & Industry engagement
3. Student & Youth innovation

The symposium stood as a powerful platform to explore the evolving landscape of homeopathy and its integration into modern healthcare through scientific dialogue and shared vision.

“The theme for this year’s celebration-  अध्ययन, अध्यापन ऐवम अनुसन्धान (study, teaching and research) encapsulates the core principles that drive the advancement in homeopathy” noted Dr Subhash Kaushik, Director General, CCRH.
