The World Spinal Cord Injury Day is observed on 5 September every year by the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) aiming to increase awareness about spinal cord injury (SCI) among the masses with a hope of facilitating a more inclusive life for people with disability and ensuring greater chances of success for injury prevention programmes.
